Starbucks vanilla bean frappuccino recipe

This is an easy and tasty copycat recipe, just like Starbucks's. It is simple to make at home, saves you money, and tastes just as good (or even better) than the store-bought version.

You can make it on hot summer days, snowy winter mornings, or any day you crave something sweet and refreshing.

Ingredients

For ingredients and detailed instructions, refer to the recipe card below.

  • Milk: Use whole milk, but you can substitute it for low-fat milk.
  • Granulated sugar
  • Vanilla bean ice cream
  • Vanilla extract: Opt for pure vanilla extract.
  • Crushed ice
  • Whipped cream is an optional ingredient but adds so much texture and deliciousness. You can make your own whipped cream or buy a ready-made one.

How to make vanilla bean frappuccino

Start by placing all ingredients (except the whipped cream) into a blender and mixing until smooth. Pour the drink into your favorite glass, then add a swirl of whipped cream on top.

Enjoy right away with a fun straw.

Expert Tips

  • Get all your ingredients ready ahead of time, especially the ice cream and ice so that you can blend and enjoy your treat right away. A little prep (mise en place) makes the preparation smooth.
  • Toss in fresh or frozen fruits while blending, or add them on top when serving.
  • Experiment with different flavors, like drizzling caramel or chocolate syrup if desired.
